Stramash is going mass participation in September 2010. Pitch yourself against the world-famous singletrack descents of Glentress Forest. For those not familiar with the Enduro racing, it is a test of your abilities as an all-round rider with a focus on your technical abilities. You’ll have to keep an eye on the clock to take on the climbs of the course at a fast pace but ensuring you can keep enough energy to maximise your speed on the descents. The winner will be the person setting the fastest combined descent times from the special stages whilst completing these special stages and the climbs in between within the time limit. You set off at your individual start time and finish up to four hours later at your individual finish time or incurr time penalties if you're late.

Stramash is all about rider development and here comes the twist to our enduro. The experienced rider can decide to take on all four special stages including the classic black run descents of Glentress for the ultimate challenge. Those building their skills and confidence can choose to miss out the more technically challenging special stages and instead take part in focussed skills sessions during the event. You can then return to the same special stage and attempt to set a faster time on it.
